How we keep Connect Match safer for everyone

Connect Match is built for authentic, respectful connections. Your safety is a priority. This page explains key safety tips and how to report issues.

1. General Safety Tips

Never send money or share financial information with anyone you meet in the app.
Keep personal details (home address, work address, daily routines) private until you fully trust someone.
Move slowly and use in-app messaging before sharing other contact details.
If you decide to meet in person, choose a public place and tell a friend where you’re going.
Trust your instincts. If something feels off, you can unmatch, block, or report the user.

2. Content & Behavior We Don’t Allow

Examples of behavior that is not allowed on Connect Match include:

Harassment, threats, hate speech, or bullying.
Non-consensual or sexually explicit content.
Spam, scams, or attempts to solicit money or financial details.
Impersonation, fake profiles, or use of stolen photos.
Promoting violence, self-harm, or illegal activities.

3. How to Report a Problem

If you see behavior or content that violates our guidelines, please report it. This helps keep the community safer for everyone.

Use the in-app Report or Block options where available; or
Email us at support@connectmatch.app with details and screenshots.

When you report, please include as much detail as possible (username, what happened, date/time, and any screenshots).

4. What We Do With Reports

Depending on the issue, we may:

Review the reported profile, messages, or images.
Warn, restrict, or permanently ban accounts that violate our policies.
Cooperate with law enforcement where required by law or to protect someone’s safety.

5. If You Feel in Immediate Danger

If you believe you or someone else is in immediate danger, please contact your local emergency services first. After you are safe, you can also report the issue to us so we can review the account involved.
